Illness Management and Recovery Training December 14 & 15, 2017

WHAT IS ILLNESS MANAGEMENT AND RECOVERY?
Illness Management and Recovery, or IMR, is a step-by-step program that helps people to:
•Set meaningful goals for themselves
•Acquire information and skills to develop a greater sense of mastery over their psychiatric illness
•Maintain focus on and make progress towards their own personal goals and recovery

 

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?
Supervisors who are interested in learning more about Illness Management and Recovery and how their practitioners can use it to more effectively treat their clients
Practitioners who are interested in the implementation of Illness Management and Recovery
New staff at an agency using Illness Management and Recovery

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS TRAINING?
•Two days, 12 hours training session on basic skills required to implement IMR
•12 hours of continuing education credit plus 12 additional credits if all TA calls are attended
•IMR Manual (digital and paper copy) and participant materials
•Continental breakfast, beverages, and lunch
•Post training: 12 hours of group consultation via WebEx online meeting to address:

  • Implementation           •Troubleshooting
  • Technical assistance    • Case feedback
